CAN SLAVERY EXIST IN THE 21ST CENTURY?

The advertisement is engine of business. I can’t get rid of it especially while seeing TV. This evening I was trying to see the film «The butterfly effect» with Ashton Kutcher (a cool movie, you will feels tingles down your spine), but a lot of ads were preventing me. >:-/

«You have no rights, no friends …no life» - terrible words from social advertisement devoted to human traffic. This problem is usually considered to be social, but I think that it’s also an economic one. And there is good reason to believe in it…

A friend of mine made a report devoted to human trafficking to present it during the Student Conference. She began her speech with the following words:

« You may say that no sensible person would think that slavery could exist in the 21st century. But I am here to prove you that it does exist and we should be aware of this problem and be ready to solve it. »

But still, why human trafficking is closely connected with the development of international business?

International business is an economic activity carried between nations. It deals with producing, selling, and buying various goods and services. As well as other activities international business is conducted by people, so labor resources play the key-role in it, define its intensity and affect the final results. Nowadays labor market is facing such a problem as human trafficking.

U might feel surprised but the human traffic is widely supported by many countries. Privately, of course. But you are to understand, that this business is too profitable for the countries to give it up. The situation is hardly to change.
It’s like smoking - everybody knows it kills but the government will never prohibit the tobacco production. Same reason.
